...not _quite_ what i wanted, so maybe there's call for another, perhaps a dedicated public forum. any opinions?

I agree...need to get some major feedback on the wiki idea since user generated content and policing seems to be the way to go now a days. It's fun too! Perhaps a forum is the way to go here. hmmmmmmm
hi cat, and thanks for continuing to contribute! trouble that i see is that there are _already_ so many of these things. it's more like someone needs to focus random searchers a bit rather than get more [duplicate] information up there.
a forum might be useful in that context if heavilyyyyeeee....errr, moderated. hmmm. i think you just gave me my next blog.
Lx, Thanks for this post on the wiki. There seem to be some great resources to enable all walks to create the next Q-bert sensation. I think I left the game on all night, so I could listen to the audio. Must have been 11 or 12 years old. Me, my sleeping bag, a Commodore 128, and Q-bert theme music. Geesh.
