"All you needs is t' play, sugar,"

ok, ok. looks as if some strangers are peering at this thing, i'm getting a few pings from people asking 'wtf'.

i'll start explaining things shortly, but first i'll muddy the waters further with this link

...ok, you get that one? ...it's a reach, i'll give you that. but the heart is in the subjectline of _this_ blog, itself a direct quote.

please note that the linked blog only has 2 or 3 references to computers.

what it's talking about is community. or lack of same.

Archival subject matter and content to the "Homeless no longer shock to indifference" blog don't actually pertain to any pf the technology discussions here, except in their social containment, which is something we must all consider with technology's usefulness and poignancy.
We can trust and respect yet we still have to have responsibility with technology's use.
Blogs have context as their purpose yet they have links and social sustenance as their soul.
All we need is to play with communication and technology, even as we use the crosswalk.

wow, i didn't expect to hear directly from the author, and especially didn't expect to hear something so in sync with my own feelings!

RIGHT! i think the big problem with all these 'interactive music makers' is that it's like a guitar just lying there on the ground. someone might plonk on it a bit, but unless there's someone available who can both tutor and engage, there really is no musical instrument. more on this later, and please keep commenting!
